Gentleman Jason and his tragic story
There are cats that are special. One such cat was Jason. He arrived in the park in the 28th of June 2021. I only got to see him two days later, still feeling lost and disoriented. A tiny kitten amidst a big number of cats, having to survive and fend for himself. He must have been two month old or less when arriving at the park. Jason was strong in general, but he had a sore eye, that never quite healed. Despite that, his health was in general good (tho he probably suffered from some sort of immunodefiency illness, possibly FIV), so he survived and thrived. He was there when other cats passed away (such as dear Sablé and Sidney). But then, all of a sudden, this 16th of March, 2022, he passed to the Rainbow Bridge. Jason was an amazing being, since young, a cat that never knew any malice. Since young, all he wanted to do was to play and sleep. He never quite hissed nor attacked any of the other cats.
