Gentleman Jason and his tragic story

There are cats that are special. One such cat was Jason. He arrived in the park in the 28th of June 2021. I only got to see him two days later, still feeling lost and disoriented. A tiny kitten amidst a big number of cats, having to survive and fend for himself.  He must have been two month old or less when arriving at the park.  Jason was strong in general, but he had a sore eye, that never quite healed. Despite that, his health was in general good (tho he probably suffered from some sort of immunodefiency illness, possibly FIV), so he survived and thrived.  He was there when other cats passed away (such as dear Sablé and Sidney). But then, all of a sudden, this 16th of March, 2022, he passed to the Rainbow Bridge.  Jason was an amazing being, since young, a cat that never knew any malice. The Tragic Life of Frank and Stein - and stray cats in general

Sometimes its hard to tell what a specific life can teach. I learned so much through helping the cats. Each and every one special in their own way. But cats like Stein, are special in their own particular ways. First of all they were abandoned, both him and his brother at the park, at an young age. His brother already missing his right eye. Him, victim of an abcess on his right chin, among probably a litany of small immunodeficiency problems.  First of all, already abandoned. In dire circumstances. And already having to live out in the big world. I took them both right away to the vet. Stein (named after being bandaged up after his improptu procedure) had his abcess open, which might have brought him a little more discomfort to his already difficult life. As it was okay for him to stay over at the vet, I let them both stay, even though Frank was ok (barring his right eye missing) so as to not leave Stein alone in his cage during his recovery.  They both were amazingly loving, ...
